Established in 2020, Carrbridge Square LLC, an Arizona company, is home to both speculative fiction, steamy contemporary romance and non-fiction titles.
Managing Director Roger Gillespie is a screenwriter and novelist, whose career includes educator, journalist, and film festival founder. Combining his degrees in broadcasting and 18th century history, the former Tidewater Virginia resident became inspired to combine three themes, Williamsburg, Virginia, Benjamin Franklin and Time Travel, into a full-length feature screenplay and now the first of a series novel entitled—
Saving Liberty
The Saving Liberty screenplay has generated an expanded book series universe, Franklin In Time. Parallel universes, alternate timelines, and some real, and not so real history, will see Ben not only in Williamsburg, but Philadelphia, London and Paris.
Shelley Sommers is the Creative Director of Carrbridge Square projects. She is the author of the Louisa’s Vineyard Series, as well as non-fiction books. The characters in Louisa’s Vineyard include Louisa Dominico, her friends, and family, whose lives revolve around a family vineyard, with love, passion, and challenges. The first three books are Louisa’s Passion, Will’s Secret, and A Vision of Home. The prequel, Love at First Sight, relates how Louisa’s mom and dad met in college and fell madly in love. All are steamy contemporary romance and available on major booksellers online as paperbacks and ebooks.
An award-winning screenwriter and journalist, Shelley has also served as a: ghostwriter, copywriter, content writer, writing educator, consultant, book coach, and film festival founder and director.
As a writing educator, her clients said she “changed their lives.” As former film festival director, she nurtured new talent, recruited the judges, and reviewed every single film submitted, at least twice.
